Emily Harris, a key figure at Bones Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy since its beginning, has played a crucial role in developing both our Women’s and Kids Jiu Jitsu programs.

As Professor Devhonte’s first female student, she earned the nickname “Em-Train” for her spirited, submission-focused Jiu Jitsu style, which contrasts her small stature, sweet smile, and caring nature.

A dedicated athlete, Emily consistently medals in prestigious competitions like the IBJJF World Championship and the Pan American Championship.

With over 10 years of coaching experience in youth athletics, including softball, volleyball, and Jiu Jitsu, she excels at making learning enjoyable while teaching values like respect and discipline.
